On May 19th, 2010 Rod Bordelon of the Texas Department of Insurance, Worker’s Compensation (TDI-DWC) presented Detex with our sixth consecutive Certificate of Achievement at the Texas Safety Summit in Austin Texas.
In his presentation, attended by safety professionals from all over the state, he gave an excellent overview of the company and in his announcement noted, “Detex Corporation has shown overwhelming evidence that the safety and health of its employees is a priority.”
Detex is one of only two companies in Texas to receive the award this year.
The Certificate of Achievement was formally presented to Bob Nester, Manufacturing Engineer; Gene Boratko, Director of Manufacturing and John Blodgett, President were also in attendance.
